The UMTC Badminton team played another season of intense matches, showcasing their skills and determination to emerge victorious last 9 March 2024 at the 2nd ALMA Maritime Group Badminton Tournament.
The below teams bagged awards in the Level E category:
Champion (Men’s double) Almond Monteagudo and Ralph Malacad
1st placer (Mixed Doubles) Sheree Palicpic and Raymund Banan
Additional nine players from the organization represented the Badminton team:
Men's Doubles:
- Randy Diamante and Rohit Jeerh
- Raymund Banan and Christian Kelvin Villanueva.
Mixed Doubles:
- Milan Bacani and Vera Dadula
- John Hervy Cadiz and Judie Kallio
- Joselito Pante and Gerille Tuala
The team has shown exceptional talent and determination as they achieved an impressive record, proving themselves to be a force in this annual tournament against different Maritime organizations. :
