United Marine Training Center (UMTC) proudly announces a groundbreaking collaboration with NYK Cruises Co., Ltd. (NYKC), a leading Japanese cruise line renowned for its luxurious world cruise experiences. This unique partnership will enhance crew training in the industry.
This pioneering partnership enables UMTC to provide state-of-the-art facilities to elevate the NYKC crew's practical skills in the following:
- food and beverage services
- housekeeping
- culinary
- Japanese language
These enhancement training aligns with NYKC’s mission of upholding the highest service standards for its passengers.
UMTC team welcomed the NYKC management, instructors, and the successful first group of 30 NYKC Trainees. During the initial week of training, they provided practical experience to help them identify their strengths. Following the selection phase, the trainees will focus on their specified roles during the intensive 12-week training program.
In addition to the training activities, UMTC is honored to accommodate the NYKC PR Team. They are set to feature recent training activities on their country’s national TV, showcasing NYKC's commitment to excellence in crew training and quality services.
