UMTC takes pride in hosting the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly elected officers of the Association of TVET Schools in Manila, Inc. (ATSMI), marking the start of a new leadership term.
The ceremony began with a message from UMTC’s Managing Director, Donald Bautista, and warmly welcomed the leaders and representatives from TVET institutions across Manila as they formally committed to their respective responsibilities in advancing technical-vocational education and training.
The occasion holds particular significance for UMTC as its Officer-in-Charge of Culinary Training, Chef Joselito Pante, assumes the position of ATSMI Committee Chair- Maritime Sector for a two-year term.
This election reflects the trust fellow TVET institutions place in his leadership and experience. This appointment also offers an opportunity for UMTC to contribute more actively to the TVET sector's ongoing development and strengthen collaboration among training institutions.
ATSMI serves as a platform for TVET institutions to come together, exchange knowledge and best practices, and work collectively toward the advancement of technical and vocational education.
