Continuous Proficiency Development for 2nd Engineer and 3rd Engineer Promoted for 2nd Engineer

To provide the Third Engineers with knowledge and skills in managing the engine room operation and develop the correct attitude and behavior as part of their promotion to Second Engineer.

Training Outcome/s:

• • act in a leadership role
• • supervise the engine department’s daily work,
• • supervise inspection of marine diesel engines,
• • supervise engine room operations,
• • supervise the operation of electrical, electronic, and control equipment; and
• • supervise troubleshooting and restoration of electrical, electronic, and control equipment to operating condition.
