Engine Watchkeeping Refresher Course for Management Level

This evaluation program aims to determine the competency of Operational Level Engineers in engine watchkeeping. In order to establish their current competency and or eligibility for promotion.

Training Outcome/s:

• manage operation and maintenance of main engine and auxiliary machinery;
• manage fuel oil and lube oil operations;
• respond to engine room emergency situations;
• monitor and control compliance with legislative and regulatory bodies;
• manage the operation of electrical, electronic and control equipment; and
• manage troubleshooting, restoration of electrical, electronic and control equipment to operating condition.
