Maker Specific Hatch Cover Maintenance

The aim of this training course is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure the consistent seaworthiness of hatch covers through proper operation, effective inspection, and maintenance practices, enhancing maritime safety and cargo integrity.

Training Outcome/s:

• Identify the general specifications of the Hatch Cover (Pontoon Type) as per the maker’s manual. 
• Side rolling electric and hydraulic system, folding type hydraulic system 
• Operate the pontoon type / hydraulic, electric, and folding hatch cover as per the maker’s instruction manual.
• Carry out hatch cover inspection, maintenance, and repair.
• Carry out hatch cover leak detection test.
• Evaluate the reports from the inspection.
• Apply recommended actions as per company standards
