MEG 4 Mooring Course

The course aims to provide deck officers and crew with comprehensive knowledge of safe mooring equipment, mooring winch testing, inspection, and maintenance of mooring lines.

Training Outcome/s:

• contribute to berthing, anchoring, and other mooring operations
• test, inspect, and maintain mooring equipment
• proper maintenance, inspection procedures, and discarding criteria of wires and conventional synthetic fiber ropes
