SIRE 2.0 Familiarization Course

This course aims to provide participants information, guidance, and understanding on the changes and transition of inspection regimes from SIRE VIQ7 to SIRE 2.0, with emphasis on the Enhanced Vessel Inspection Process, and a comprehensive refresher guidance in preparing the ship for a SIRE 2.0 inspection.

Training Outcome/s:
  • Explain the general overview of OCIMF focus in strengthening vessel inspection programme
  • Explain the enhanced vessel inspection process through the SIRE 2.0
  • Prepare the ship for inspection
Entry Standard/s: 

The course is open for seafarers who will be assigned to join Oil tankers, Chemical tankers and Gas Carriers of any kind.
