Deck Officer Competency Evaluation (DOCE)

The evaluation program aims to assess deck officers’ current knowledge, understanding, and skills as bridge watchkeeping officers to determine their readiness for shipboard assignment on their designated tasks.

Assessment Outcome/s:

• Determine the competency level of deck officers by identifying their strengths and training needs.
• Recommend training sessions to enhance knowledge, understanding, and skills in the identified areas that need improvement.
