This course aims to provide foundational knowledge and skills in oxy-acetylene welding, cutting, and brazing, enabling trainees to perform more advanced and precise operations with greater safety, efficiency, and confidence. The course focuses on enhancing technical proficiency, understanding material behavior, and applying correct procedures for various welding, cutting, and brazing.
Training Outcome/s:
- Apply safe working practices
- Familiarize with the welding set-up for equipment and accessories
- Weld MS plate using oxy-acetylene gas welding in 1G
- Weld 3F using oxy-acetylene gas welding
- Conduct brazing welding
- Set up cutting equipment and accessories
- Perform gas cutting in MS plate
