Operational Use of Electronic Chart Display and Information System
This course will develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviors required to navigate a vessel safely using ECDIS functionality and operations.
Training Outcome/s:
- explain the purpose, regulations, and function of ECDIS and its system
- identify and locate sensor inputs
- set up ECDIS.
- manage ECDIS settings, alarms, and software
- create a route plan
- execute and monitor a voyage plan
