Pre-test for 2nd Engineer Promoted to Chief Engineer

To determine the current competency of the Second Engineer in performing their duties in managing the operation of the engine department and in preparation for their promotion to Chief Marine Engineer.

Training Outcome/s:

• manage operation and maintenance of main engine and auxiliary machinery; 
• manage fuel oil and lube oil operations; 
• respond to engine room emergencies; 
• monitor and control compliance with legislative and regulatory bodies; 
• manage troubleshooting, restoration of electrical, electronic, and control equipment to operating condition.
