Working at Heights

It aims to provide training, guidance, and practice for all seafarers who will be involved in working aloft, working over the side, and working at heights.

This course meets the requirements of the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER), providing practical, hands-on training for working at heights and rescue operations in a simulated environment.

Training Outcome/s:

After the training/assessment, the participant/s shall be able to:

• Define the regulatory requirements for working at heights
• Apply safe working practices when working at heights
• Create a working heights permit
• Use different equipment while working at heights
• Work safely in enclosed spaces while working at heights
